We have no shortage of great things going on this summer. Here’s somethings happening this week:
2-4pm The Youth Group will be volunteering at the Children’s Home Society in Washougal.
7pm Small Group at the Shoemakers. The query for this week:
” How is your income related to your happiness? What makes you happy?”
Contact the church office for directions to their home.
9:30-10:30am We are going to be gathering to look at the house that needs work and do some planning around how to tackle the project. If you have interest in helping and/or skills that could be useful please join us.
11am – Camas Days Parade
10:45am Caryl Menkhus will be with us as our guest speaker during meeting for worship.
7pm Bauman Auditorium George Fox University Campus – Yearly Meeting begins with a keynote address from the Yearly Meeting Superintendent Colin Saxton
Concerning the week of July 26th.
I will be out of the office all week (though Helen will be around) because I will be at Yearly Meeting in Newberg. If you end up coming to YM for a visit let me know so I can show you around and say hello. Otherwise, I will be available by phone and email.
Dorothy Sherman and I are both doing workshops on Monday and Caryl is doing two Godly Play workshops on Wednesday. More information can be found here.
Finally, there will be no Quaker Book Discussion Group on Wednesday July 28th. Our next meeting will be August 11th and we will come having read chapters 4 and 5.
