Making Space for God: Psalm 46

Hello Friends,

This coming Sunday we’re going to reflect on making space for God and what that might mean for us as a community and what it means for us as we enter into Advent. With Advent an appropriate question arises: Is there space in the world, in our community and in my own life for the birth of God, the incarnation of Jesus Christ to take place?

While it is not yet advent, let’s begin thinking about this and what it means for each of us to make space.

Our text for Sunday is Psalm 46. A psalm if find absolutely beautiful, joyous, and life-giving. As you reflect on this passage see if you can let it become something you mediate on day and night for the rest of the week.
