A Quaker Meeting in Camas, WA
(Click on photo to register for retreat, or read instructions below.)
It’s time again for our annual retreat!
For many years now, Camas Friends Church has taken time off and headed to the beach to build community and reflect on our spiritual lives.
We always have a great time together and the mix of worship, fun, and relaxation seems just right. If you’re able to make the time to join us, I have no doubt that you’ll be glad you did.
Retreat Focus and Other Details
Our theme this year will be “Abundance of Gifts” and we will take time to reflect on our own gifts and affirm one another. Plus, we’re going to have a lot of fun doing things like: epilogue, plain Quaker Facebook pages, art collective, coffee house and open mic, hiking and visiting the beach, and much more!
We will stay in Hadley Hall at Twin Rocks from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. You can learn more about Hadley Hall on Twin Rocks website, but they are setup similar to dorm rooms (bring your own blankets, pillows and towels). Each room can accommodate your family or any friends you bring and want to room with.
We will eat in the cafeteria. The kitchen staff always do a really nice job and they always have ample dessert and coffee! One of the highlights is not having to make meals or wash dishes for the whole weekend! If you have special dietary needs please let us know on the registration form so we can notify Twin Rocks about that.
We will also have activities planned for our children. If you’d like to help with planning any of this, let Wess or the Office know.
You can bring cash or check (to Camas Friends) or you can pay online.
Hope to see you all there!
