This past Sunday Wess’s sermon focused on Psalm 73, and dealing with failure. (A timely message considering all the mixed up information in last week’s bulletins! We all have off days, I guess!)
“No doubt about it! God is good— good to good people, good to the good-hearted. But I nearly missed it, missed seeing his goodness. I was looking the other way, looking up to the people At the top, envying the wicked who have it made, Who have nothing to worry about, not a care in the whole wide world.”
- What stands out to you about this Psalm? What do you notice?
- Which part of this prayer could be yours today? If not today, is there a time in which part of this Psalm was deeply true for you?
