The author of Hebrews writes “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another…” (10:24-25). Camas Friends Church will take that advice, as best as we can in this time! To that end, here are a few things you should know about how we are gathering for worship in this season.
- We will continue to meet for worship on Sundays via Zoom videoconferencing. At 10:30am, grab your hot beverage and morning snack and get cozy somewhere with your phone (using the free Zoom app) or your computer and use this link to join the meeting: https://zoom.us/j/481596095. We will start to gather at 10:30am and begin worship at 10:45am.
- This gathering will be recorded. After worship, an edited version of the recording that contains no personal information (so likely just announcements, scripture, mini-message, and queries, but nothing shared in prayer or in open worship) will be posted on our website (for viewing) and on Facebook (for viewing and engaging/commenting). Those who cannot attend the Zoom meeting are encouraged to participate by checking out this post, available Sunday afternoon.
Whether you are a regular attender or potential first-time attender, please “attend” in the coming weeks as meet together virtually. Email Matt (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
