Project Holiday Hope

Camas Friends Church is participating in Project Holiday Hope (PHH) as a “Community Partner” for the fourth holiday season in a row via a virtual giving tree. Contact to learn how to partner with CFC directly. Here’s a little bit about PHH from its founder, Kimberly Berry…

We understand Christmas is more than the gifts under the tree, it’s the memories our children create and remember as they grow up and start families. The memories of running to the Christmas tree to see what Santa had left them, the smell of Christmas breakfast, the sense of joy and excitement in the air. Can you imagine a Christmas without a tree, dinner, or presents for your children? Sadly, there are many families this year that are trying unsuccessfully to find a way to create Christmas magic for their loved ones this holiday season. YOU can make all the difference!

This is our 4th year of Project Holiday Hope, serving families in Southwest Washington. This year we face a new challenge, Covid19. Many of our families are surviving meal by meal, dollar to dollar. The holidays are a special time of year for many people, but unfortunately for our families it is another source of stress due to their financial situation. PHH helps to alleviate this stress, and take one one thing off of their plate.

There are 4 simple ways you can donate! All donations are 100% tax deductible!

  • Donate a Target Gift Card of any amount to be used by the team to purchase a wish from their Christmas List
  • Make a cash donation on our Go Fund Me site
  • Choose an item(s) directly from our Amazon Christmas Wish List filled with the wishes requested from the families
  • Go to our community partner locations and take a tag from their Giving Tree

Miracles DO happen and YOU will be that miracle for our families in need. Please follow Project Holiday Hope on social media for more details and updates! Every little amount helps, so please share us with your friends and family to help spread the word! Help a low income family in crisis this holiday by making a donation and make a child’s Christmas wish come true!
