Persistent Commitment (Guest Speaker: Ron Myers )

Ron grew up in Washougal and began attending Oak Park Friends church, which later moved to its current location in downtown Camas, around 1949.  He has considered this my ‘home church’ since then.  He went to Clark College and WSU for my BSc in Chemistry.  He earned my MSc at Rensselaer Polytechnic in Troy, NY while  teaching in Richland and Kennewick, WA.  Ron has also taught in Malaysia, American Samoa, and Warner Pacific College in Portland. He met and married Carolyn while teaching at Warner Pacific and got to have 40 years together.
