CFC Welcome Class

Interested in learning more about what being Quaker is all about?

There are a couple of ways that those who are new or relatively new to Camas Friends Church can learn more about the particular kind of Christian spirituality we practice.

“CFC Newbies” aka “Quaker 101” discussion groups.

This is a discussion group that meets five or six times over the course of several weeks in which we do two things: 1) explore the basics of Quaker history, practices, values, as well as the more particular history of Camas Friends Church itself (its past, present, and possible future); and 2) share our personal spiritual journeys. The timing of when these groups are formed is based on interest

Meet with the pastor.

If the group thing won’t work for you for any reason, but you still want to ask a few questions, contact our pastor, Matt (matt@camasfriends.org). He’d love to get coffee with you! If Matt seems like a less-than-ideal conversation partner for any number of valid reasons, he can connect you with one of our elders.
