Healing, Together (Jim Miller)

Jim was born in Oklahoma and lived in Kansas and Colorado before going to California for college. He was kicked out of Biola after three years and graduated with a BA in Psychology from Azusa Pacific and an MA from San Francisco State in 1970. Jim was a Staff Psychologist at the Youth Center at Beloit, Kansas. He was a Treatment Director at ALPHA House, a residential drug treatment program in Portland and has lived here since 1975. Jim retired from Clark County Community Services as Hospital Liaison in 08. He has been married to Marilyn for 57 years and has two children and one grandson, all in the area. His spiritual journey has taken him from Southern Baptist to Liberal Quaker.
