Seth Martin (Seth Mountain, 이산) is a peace activist, poet, teacher, and musician originally from the Pacific Northwest, and a long-term friend of Camas Friends. Since 2015 he has lived and worked in Korea with his partner, Lee Nan Young, but he still lovingly considers Camas Friends his "home church".

How do I experience grace? How have I experienced grace? How have I experienced being “made alive” or whatever language most captures the positive movement of my spirituality? How has discovering God’s grace or my agency (or both) been a kind of salvation?

22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks desire wisdom, 23 but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.
